I am self-learning anything about Information Security recently. This handbook serves as a centralised knowledge base for me to store and to manage what I learnt.

Docusaurus is an easy to use static-site generator, it provides lots of documentation features which I found useful (content with markdown, navigation bar, table of content bar, document versioning, Internationalization - i18n, content search with 3rd party plugin... )

Have I been pwned?​

[Have I Been pwned?] (https://haveibeenpwned.com) (HIBP)係一個收集左無數數據洩漏（data breaches)事件既網上資料庫。

呢個資料庫係由一個澳洲既網絡安全專家 [Troy Hunt] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Hunt) 成立。 建造既目的就係比大家有一個公開，免費既資料庫去檢查自己既個人資料係咪已經外洩，係咪已經係互聯網度流傳緊。

開始檢查​

去到呢個網站，只要係 "email or phone" 果度打你自己既 email 或者電話號碼 852xxxxxxxx，之後 click "pwned?" 去 search。

如果你既email/電話號碼無被收錄係資料庫既話。恭喜，你呢個email係呢個時刻係比較安全既。 但係唔係代表你可以掉以輕心，你仲係需要去繼續努力，保護好自己既網絡帳號。

如果你既email已經被收錄係資料庫既話，網頁會 show 以上既內容。 會顯示你 email/電話號碼存在係幾多次被公開既數據洩露事件入面。

呢度會顯示你比咩網上服務洩露（出賣）左你既個人資訊

無論你輸入既資料有無出現係個資料庫入面都好。 你都係要做更多既野去確保你既網上服務帳號(email / social accounts)安全。

1. 你既每一個帳號既密碼都係要獨一無二。 如果你每一個帳號都係用同一個密碼，假設黑客知道你其中一個帳號既密碼，就可以順便破解埋你其他既帳號。
2. 你既密碼要比黑客好難去估/撞 例如: 12位（或以上）既隨機密碼（包含英文大小寫，數字，符號）。而家既黑客都有一個現存已知（已洩露）既密碼資料庫，或者有破解密碼既軟件。所以弱既密碼係好容易被破解既。
3. 有良好既使用習慣 唔會係自己既手機同電腦以外既設備登入。會定期檢查帳號安全設定...

接收 HIBP 關於你數據洩露事件既通知​

click "Notify Me" （紅色圈圈）

輸入 email ，完成我不是機器人認證，click "notify me in pwnage"

登記成功，之後去 email 搵返 HIBP 既確認 email，再 click email 入面既"確認" link，就可以完成登記。

以後，如果你既 email 出現係資料庫入面，你會收到來自 HIBP 既 email 通知。

General Advices​

• 唔用公眾wifi
• 更新所有電子設備去最新版本既軟件
• 加密電子設備。Windows (Bitlocker), MacOS (Filevault), 手機平板（set一個比較長既密碼（at least 8 digits)

點係網絡世界保護自己？​

• 對網上資訊保持懷疑既態度 (包括本文都係）
• 如無必要，你係無義務提供任何真實既個人資料。可以先用替身個人資料試用網上服務
• 一經上載到網絡/社交媒體上既任何野，可能係永遠沒辦法刪除既

點減少網上痕跡(internet footprint)？​

• 用網頁版取代App版。用瀏覽器 facebook.com 取代 Facebook App。
  • App 得到我地手機太多既權限例如相機，相簿，聯絡人等等...相反網頁版可以得到既權限小好多。
• 先用替身 email / 個人資料試用新既網上服務。未確認好新網路服務既安全性前。唔好 upload 真實個人資料。
• 係Google search 自己個名，手機號碼。確認個人資料無係網上流傳緊。
• 定期review, delete 自己既網上數據（例如舊既email, facebook, twitter posts)。

點提高網路服務安全性？​

• 使用 Password Manager 管理密碼。唔同網上服務用唔同既密碼。
• 使用兩步認證 (2-factors authentication) App，多一重保護網上服務account。
• delete / 停用唔再用既網上服務。
